SKI SAFARI
Olympic Legacy Ski Safari in the Dolomites: Cortina, Livigno & Bormio
CORTINA - LIVIGNO - BORMIO
UP TO 6+ DAYS
MID DECEMBER - EARLY APRIL
Hotel-based guided ski safari across the iconic Dolomites and Italian Alps, including Cortina, Livigno & Bormio with relaxing Bagni Vecchi & Bagni Nuovi thermal baths.
This hotel-based guided ski safari follows the legacy of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, taking you to ski across the very resorts that hosted the Olympic alpine events. The journey begins in the heart of the Dolomites in Cortina d’Ampezzo, before continuing into the high-altitude Alpine terrain of Livigno, Bormio and Santa Caterina Valfurva in the Lombard Alps.
You will spend the first two days based in Cortina, skiing iconic Olympic slopes such as the Olympia delle Tofane, surrounded by the dramatic scenery that made the Dolomites world-famous. The safari then moves west into Valtellina, where Bormio becomes your base camp for the following days of exploration across the Alpine resorts that featured in the Games.
Bormio is not only home to the legendary Stelvio piste — one of the most technical and celebrated downhill courses in the world — but also a historic Alpine town with a deep connection to thermal water culture dating back over two millennia. Here, skiing and wellness have always gone hand in hand.
While in Bormio, you will stay at the ancient QC Terme Bagni Vecchi, carved into the mountain above the town, where Romans, medieval travellers and alpine communities have come to regenerate for more than 2,000 years. Stone tunnels, panoramic pools and natural hot springs create an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the Alps. The experience is further enriched with time at the nearby QC Terme Bagni Nuovi, a grand liberty-style thermal spa surrounded by Alpine gardens.
This journey connects outstanding on-piste skiing, spectacular landscapes, Olympic heritage and one of the oldest spa traditions in Europe into a seamless DolomiteSafari winter experience across the Dolomites and the Lombard Alps.
