About us
CIAO! I’m Filippo Barbieri, founder of DOLOMITESAFARI and your UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain Guide in the Dolomites!
I hold a degree in law and I work full time, year-round as a mountain and ski guide based in the Bolzano area.
I’m passionate about rock climbing and ski adventures, and I love designing customized journeys to discover the Dolomites in a deep and authentic way. What I enjoy most is sharing adventures with people, because in the mountains, moving together often turns strangers into friends!
I guide regularly in the Catinaccio / Rosengarten, Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Pale di San Martino, and Lake Garda, and I also enjoy exploring mountain destinations beyond the Dolomites, especially for ski touring.
