Ski Safari in the Dolomites

If you love skiing, you should experience a guided ski safari across the Dolomites at least once in your life. The Dolomiti Superski area is one of the largest interconnected ski systems in the world, linking twelve ski resorts and more than 1,200 km of pistes across valleys, passes and provinces. Instead of staying in a single resort, a ski safari allows you to move continuously across this vast alpine landscape.

Iconic lift-connected routes such as the Sellaronda and the wider Great War Tour make it possible to travel from valley to valley in a single day, crossing different mountain groups without ever removing your skis. Beyond the groomed slopes, the same Dolomite range also offers wild backcountry terrain, remote valleys and high alpine huts for those looking for a more adventurous ski touring experience.

For this reason, our Ski Safaris in the Dolomites are built around two main approaches: a lift-connected journey across the Dolomiti Superski area, and a backcountry hut to hut traverse through remote alpine terrain. Both options are privately guided and fully customizable, depending on your level, goals and the time you have available.

Classic Ski Tours & Traverses in the Dolomites

Across the Dolomites, not every journey needs to become a full ski safari. Some routes are designed as iconic on piste experiences that can be completed in a single day, such as the legendary Sellaronda circuit or the historic Great War tour, where lift connected terrain allows you to travel far across the mountains with a smooth and flowing rhythm.

Other itineraries follow a completely different spirit. These are ski touring traverses that move away from the lifts and unfold over several days, linking valleys and remote mountain huts through quieter landscapes and wilder terrain. Routes like the Fanes Sennes traverse or the Rosengarten crossing are true hut to hut journeys, shaped by snow conditions, alpine pace, and the feeling of traveling through the Dolomites step by step on skis.

Beyond the Dolomites Ski Traverses

For those who feel the call to go farther, some of the most rewarding ski journeys begin beyond the boundaries of the Dolomites. These traverses lead into vast glaciated ranges and quieter alpine regions where the pace becomes more remote and exploratory. From the flowing lines of the Silvretta to the high passes of the Ötztal Alps or the expansive landscapes of Adamello and Cevedale, each route is a true multi day ski touring experience shaped by weather, snow, and mountain rhythm. These journeys are not about speed or distance alone, but about immersion in bigger terrain, longer horizons, and the timeless feeling of traveling across the Alps on skis.
