The Dolomites are one of the true hot spots for rock climbing in the world!
There are so many beautiful climbing routes in the Dolomites that you could spend a lifetime climbing here and still have plenty left to discover. And this is exactly what I love about guiding here: sometimes, even after many years, I get the chance to make a first repetition of a route together with my clients, sharing that wonderful feeling of discovery, curiosity and adventure!
In the Dolomites Rock Climbing Safaris below, I have selected some of my favourite ideas for exploring the mountains through multi-day guided rock climbing adventures.
The idea behind a Safari is simple: rather than staying in one place and climbing the same area every day, we move through the Dolomites, discovering different valleys, climbing areas and legendary routes along the way. Having several days available also gives us much more flexibility: we can adapt the programme to the weather, your energy, your ambitions and, sometimes, simply to the route that looks too good to miss!
You will find hut-to-hut climbing safaris, as well as hotel-based or mountain-refuge-based climbing programmes. Some are designed around a particular area or group of peaks, while others are more of a journey through different parts of the Dolomites.
And remember: the routes shown in the individual programmes are examples, not a fixed list. The actual climbing itinerary will always be shaped around your experience, climbing ability, ambitions and the mountain conditions.
The grade we climb will naturally be consistent with your skills and goals. But one thing is guaranteed:

A Rock Climbing Safari is a unique multi-day climbing adventure that takes you through some of the most iconic climbing areas in the Dolomites and beyond. It combines outdoor exploration, technical climbing, cultural experiences, and local hospitality—all guided by certified mountain professionals.

Our safaris are open to all levels! Whether you're a beginner wanting to learn the basics or an experienced climber looking to explore classic or hidden routes, we customize each trip based on your experience and goals.

Not necessarily. We offer introductory safaris for those new to rock climbing, as well as technical, multipitch, and alpine experiences for advanced climbers. Your guide will adapt the program to your level.

The main climbing season runs from June to October, with the best weather typically in July and September. Outside of peak season, we also offer safaris in lower-altitude areas like Bolzano and sorroundings, Arco & Lake Garda, Val Camonica, or Lake Iseo.

Depending on the safari, you’ll stay in a mix of charming alpine hotels, guesthouses, and mountain huts (Rifugi), with the option to choose between more adventurous or more comfortable accommodations. Alternatively, you can use Bolzano or Appiano as a base camp, enjoying a cozy stay in one place while setting out each day to explore a new climbing destination—offering maximum flexibility and convenience.

For multi-pitch climbing safaris, the maximum is 2 people per guide. If you're a larger group, additional guides will be arranged accordingly.
For single-pitch sport climbing, we can accommodate up to 6 people per guide. Beyond that, a second guide will be added to ensure safety and quality of the experience.

Spending the night in a rifugio is a unique and unforgettable part of the Dolomites experience! Cozy atmospheres, breathtaking views, and the warm hospitality of the mountain hut keepers make it truly special.
