DAY BY DAY
-
Depending on the time of your arrival in Bolzano, a visit to the Oetzi Archaeological Museum or a simple leisure walk in the lively streets and squares of the medieval town of Bolzano will be possible. If you choose to stay in Eppan, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the nearby castles, or rent a bike in the village and ride out to the volcanic lakes of Monticolo — and why not take a refreshing swim while you're there!
You will have a welcome briefing before dinner with your guide, who will give you your via ferrata gear, double check the equipment… and recommend a typical restaurant for dinner!

Today, your Dolomites safari kicks off with a via ferrata adventure in the famous Val Gardena!
If you're a beginner, your guide will introduce you to the gear and teach you basic climbing techniques — the perfect way to build a solid foundation for the days ahead. If you're already an experienced climber, you can start right away with one of the many more challenging routes in the area.
After the climb, enjoy a well-earned lunch or afternoon snack at a local mountain hut, then head back to your hotel to relax and recharge.
Accommodation: Hotel in Bolzano/Eppan

After the usual hotel pick-up in Bolzano, we drive to Carezza Pass to climb one of the two ideal second-step via ferratas: the Via Ferrata Masarè or the Via Ferrata Roda di Vael. The choice will be made flexibly by your Mountain Guide according to weather conditions and group progression.
Return to Bolzano in the afternoon, with a short stop at the spectacular Lago di Carezza before heading back to the hotel!

For the third stage of the program, I suggest a via ferrata with slightly more vertical sections and a few exposed traverses. From Passo Sella we climb the Via Ferrata Forcella del Sassolungo, reaching Rifugio Demetz for a well-deserved break and something to eat.
Feeling strong and moving confidently? We can continue with the Via Ferrata Col Rodella. Otherwise, it may be wise to save energy and rest before tomorrow’s longer and demanding day.
Accommodation: Hotel in Bolzano/Eppan
-
For the final day, we keep the highlight of this progressive via ferrata program: the legendary Via Ferrata Tridentina, considered one of the most beautiful via ferratas in the Dolomites.
After climbing its spectacular vertical sections and crossing the iconic suspension bridge, we stop for lunch at Rifugio Pisciadù before descending through the impressive Val Setus.
If you are moving confidently and still full of energy, we may even continue to the summit of Pisciadù for a final panoramic reward!
